RCOG / Iraq Liaison Group Recognition in Azadi Teaching Hospital - Duhok

The Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists (RCOG) accept the training in Obstetrician & Gynecologists if it's satisfied that the trainees has fulfilled the criteria of training and their training is certified by either member or a fellow of the collage The training should be for 4 years in O&G the candidate can then apply to site the part II exam and should all the required original or certified documents at lease 6 months before the exam . For more information contact the college website www.rcog.org.uk For those trainees or specialist who would like to use the college on line training resource ( start O.G. net ) which help in preparing them for the part II MRCOG , and are currently training in Kurdistan should contact the college to get a user name and pass word .This comes under the advantages of the MOU which was signed between the RCOG and Kurdistan Regional Government (Ministry of higher education and research ) * the part I MRCOG exam was held in Erbil in march 2009 and 78 candidate attended from all over Iraq The department is a recognize center for Arab and Iraqi board training . Dr Maida Shamdin , FRCOG is the education supervisor for board trainees , and Dr. Melad Petrus Yalda (Arab board Certified) is the chair of the department
