H5NI Virus in Duhok Province

The status of the flu bird (H5N1 virus) it has been detected after a contract between the protection of health and Veterinary directorate of Duhok province, where was stated an emergence of five skeptical cases at the province.

Wherein at the conference it had been stated by director of health protection Dr. Serawan Mohammed the prevention plan from this virus in Duhok province in coordination with the Veterinary Directorate. The plan consists of several points to address the virus including preventing the purchase and sale of live poultry and eggs imported from Turkey with washing and sterilizing cars that come from turkey after detected of H5N1 virus at Turkey, Palestine, Israel and number of other countries,   all those points been implemented and ratified.

Dr. Diar Taib manager of veterinary of Duhok province, declared  H5N1 virus is one of the seriousness worldwide diseases where they contribute to a large proportion of death the birds and the people, and in accordance with plan and instructions of the Supreme Committee of the territory of working to prevent the import of chicken products and eggs from Turkey completely.
