Italy Spends 500 Thousand Euros on Medical Projects Construction in Zakho Hospital

On Sep 19, 2018, Dr. Nezar Esmat, the director general of health directorate in Duhok declared with the collaboration of (AISPO) organization, Serena Murine, the consul general of Italy in Kurdistan region and Duhok governorate health in Zakho district have released a medical project for the individuals.

Dr. Esmat also claimed that they are so delighted for the opening of Zakho hospital laboratory, with the direct support and cooperation of Italy with Duhok health. The cost of these projects is about 500 thousand euros and with this amount of money several departments have been constructed like; a lab, the 122 center, with lots of necessary medical devices and hosting trainings for the employees and doctors.

“This is a part of our frequent projects; which has been five years that Italy and specifically AISPO organization with the direct help of the general consul of Italy in Kurdistan support us in different health sectors for providing further assistance to our people” he added. “They offer and facilitate what we need and generously helped us during the economic crisis; therefore we kindly thank them for their consistent support” he ended.
