The Italian Medical Delegation

By supporting of prime ministry in Kurdistan region in cooperation with G.D. of Health-Dohuk and Hevy organization / Nazdar. The Italian medical delegation arrive to Dohuk.

The medical delegation consists of 36 doctors and medical staff separated to 6 teams doing the below activities:

1. Cardiological team: consist of 22 persons (doctors & nurses) from Sandonato Hospital in Milano, with Kurdistan's doctors help doing 15 surgical open heart operations for children in Arbil heart hospital
2. Catheterization team : consist of 4 doctors doing 10 heart cathtrazation operation for Dohuk's children in Azadi teaching H. (Dohuk-heart hospital )
3. Pediatric team : consist of 3 doctors test for 150 children and doing surgical operation for 20 children
4. Hematological team (Tlasemia & Leukemia ): consist of 3 doctors , with the special blood disease's team in all governorate of Kurdistan region's doctors doing work shop about these disease, also doing the test to Tlasemia illnesses who treated in Italian hospital before
5. Biological team preparing work plan to training the doctors about how we test the leukemia and Tlasimia sicknesses, also discussing the development ways for Dohuk central blood bank
6. Neurological team: consist of one specialize doctor in neurology who will visit the operations halls in Dohuk governorate for doing the operations in the future, with help of specialize doctors in Dohuk we will doing 10 operations and testing 200 children
