The Italian Consulate in Duhok

In May 12^th .2013, the Italian delegation arrived to Duhok Province for the purpose of conducting several operations, including heart surgery and catheter, as Dr. Nizar Esmat, the Director General of Duhok Health, defined that the protocol was signed with the Italian consulate came in cooperation with (Heavy Nazdar) Organization to perform several operations which will be done by the Italian medical team.

On his part, Dr. Bakhtiar Ahmed Rashid, Director of the Technical Department at the Directorate General Duhok Health, outlined that both parties discussed on the signing of the Convention throughout the consulate in Arbil, in order to develop the health sector.

The Professor Alessandro Frigeola, member of the Italian delegation, outlined the genetic diseases are increasing, requires that we have taken into consideration and treating 20 patients with 7000 child.

As well as, Professor Reynalo Collado,the member of delegation, outlined the negotiation among Italian Government and the Health Ministry of Kurdistan Region is one of the most important entitlement for purpose of improve the health situation, especially the children who suffer of Thalassemia.
