Conducting more than 10 thousand Heart Operations in Duhok

After two years of opening Azadi center for heart surgery disease, the anniversary ceremony was held at the Azadi Hospital and evaluated by several specialists Doctors.

Dr. Bahaa El Din Hassan Abdel Halim, the advisor of heart disease of Azadi Hospital, mentioned in his speech, the center of the General Directorate of Duhok Health is established in 2007 as a center for heart diseases, as well as the importance of this center is appeared while the patients had traveled to other countries for treatment the catheter and heart operations with high cost, but after opening of this center rarely traveled to other countries, and according to statistics of 2007 until now has been performed more than 10,700 catheterization operations and treatment like a balloon and the network, and the big advantage provided by the Centre was to attract the patients that come from Erbil, Mosul, Baghdad plus other provinces.
