Control of Infectious Diseases during Emergency Situations

Baghdad Health Ministry, in collaboration with Kurdistan Health Ministry and the Office of Erbil, opened a seminar on how to diagnose infectious diseases during the emergency situations for three days.

During this seminar, Dr. Serwan Ahmed Aswad, the Director of health Prevention stated: this seminar isspecified for the Syrian refugees in order to protect them from the infectious diseases with taking part several Syrians doctors.

In addition to, the arrival of the specialists doctors from WHO and Baghdad Health Ministry as well as from Duhok are to present this seminar. This seminar can be considered as an important step carried out by the General Directorate of Duhok Health with the World Health Organization (WHO) for controlling on disease infectious, without finding any serious illnesses till now, either in Dumez camp or other parties.
