44 Heart Surgeries by Italian Doctors in Duhok

The Italian consulat Arbil, Carmelo Vegara had made clear the Italian medical delegation in Duhok conducted 13 heart surgeries as Dr. Bakhtiar Ahmed, the agent of the General Director of Duhok health, pointed out the medical delegation conducted 31 surgeries and heart catheterization, in addition to other surgical operations conducted for the first time in Iraq, especially cardiac surgery for children.

Dr. Bakhtiar asserted the Directorate of Duhok Health managed 19 patients in the subsidy to send them out of the country for surgical procedure and the amount spent reached 155 million dinars.
