Minister of Health visit the province of Duhok Region

The health minister of the Kurdistan Region Dr. Rekawt Hama Salih and his entourage, accompanied by the Director of Duhok Health Dr. Nezar Ismat visited number of Khank camp for the displaced and health centers then the emergency hospital in Duhok, in order to see the situation of the displaced and standing on the services provided to them in the province and inspection on the Peshmerge wounded in Azadi hospital,

In the context of a press conference, Dr. Rekawt Hama Salih had been saying: I want to thank the governor of Duhok and Health Directorate of Duhok all their doctors and staff for their great efforts to control the situation of displaced and treat the wounded at the battles places. There is more than 580 thousand displaced in Duhok province regardless of who came to the province before the recent events which has resulted the number of displaced persons to carry significant weight on the health centers, and if we look at the Khanki center the number of patients per day is around 100 people, but today during the current situation numbering more than 2000.

Dr. Nezar Ismat praised the visiting of the Health Minister, describing his visit to the supportive factor for their business, in the hope that all concerned parties to cooperate with them through the allocation of budget for the displaced people in the province of Duhok.
