The International Day of Midwives

the Directorate General of Health Duhok has revived the International Day of Midwives; the ceremonies had started by attending General Director of the Health Duhok and officials of UNFDPA Organization. 

General Director of Duhok Health Dr. Nezar Ismat, confirmed on considering this day with great interest and as long as offered programs for development of professional possibilities of midwives that maintaining the integrity of pregnant women before and after childbirth. Furthermore, Dr. Nezar stressed that the Directorate of Health Duhok in cooperation with UNFDPA Organization are going on to set custom rooms at the camps to maintaining the safety of pregnants and fetus.
