A Consultative Clinic in the Medical Sciences College has been Opened

Dr. Nezar Esmat, the director general of health directorate in Duhok declared that on Oct 9, 2018 a consultative clinic has been opened in Shahedan quarter.

Dr. Esmat proclaimed, “The purpose behind the opening of the clinic is to offer some facilities to the citizens of the area, for diagnosis and doing tests in a proper price. Moreover, it is one of the greatest achievements of the Shahedan district, since people can visit a nearby clinic for taking treatments. The dean of the medical sciences college had requested from directorate of health to support them to open this clinic, with the collaboration of head of Duhok University we were able to make their demand real and open the clinic with a similar price of all other consultative clinics in the area”.

The head of Duhok University, Dr. Muslih Duhoki stated that the clinic is an excellent opportunity for the university students to enhance their knowledge and required information. Since they can have their training practices there, as long as Duhok University has always paid a close devotion to the medical activities and supported them. Furthermore, a couple of days ago in the University of Duhok an international conference had been held for bringing the new system for the college of medicine, there is no doubt that the graduates of this system will provide more proper service to the community.

Dr. Waleed Barwari announced that the clinic has offered pediatrics, nurse-midwife, surgeons, family consultant, cardiologists, and sonar specialists, to work in the clinic with all the necessities to provide essential services.
