US doctors carry out free surgeries in Duhok

      The Kurdistan Region used of visiting foreign delegations annually for various purposes, including this visit by the American medical delegation for the purpose of providing several medical services to the citizens of Dohuk governorate, treating patients, training doctors in Dohuk governorate besides  moral and material providing assistance to the Health Department in Duhok within health institutions.

Director General of Duhok Governorate, Dr. Nizar Esmat has expressed his thankes and appreciation  the Office of Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Mr. Nejirvan Barzani, as the delegation visited the Kurdistan Region through direct support from the Office of its sovereignty, expressing the gratitude of the Department for their good and able efforts.

At the conference, Dr. Nizar has confirmed they were able to establish a kidney center in Duhok with the assistance of the American medical delegation, especially with the support of Dr. Ghazi Zebari who indicated from his side that the aim of visiting the Kurdistan Region on an annual basis is to establish strong relations between the Kurdistan and American doctors, and to conduct several dangerous and complex operations and enhancement the medical system in the Region to a level so the patient does not need the neighbor countries for treatment.
