A delegation form American Rand Organization  visited DOH duhok and met with dr (Nizar Esmat) general director of health ,this meeting was attended by professor (Lee Hellborn) Assistant Director of WHO, Dr. (Melinda Moore) Researcher Advanced Global Health, and Dr.

The Minister of Anfal  and Martyrs  affairs Mr. Aram Ahmed, accompanied by members from the Duhok Office  visited  Directorate General of Health in Duhok and was received by Dr. Nizar Esmat Director General of Health.

Within the program of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq allocated to serve the patients,and in the presence of Dr. Nizar Esmat Director-General health in duhok, ceremony fordistribution thefinancial assistance  for the ten families of children suffering from heart problems was conducted.

On 7th of feb.2012 a meeting was held in the conference room at the Directorate General of Health in Dohuk by Dr. Nizar Esmat Director General of Health in the province and presence of the civil society organizations lasted for threehours.

The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Region conducted a  Conference on the Reform And Development Of The Health System in the Kurdistan region with  the participation of 400 specialists and doctors, and for two days.
